On the morning of November 3rd, the press conference for the 2024 Kayou Yiwu Half Marathon (hereinafter referred to as "Yiwu Marathon") was held at the Yiwu Meihu Sports Center. The event introduced the basic information and highlights of this year's "Yiwu Marathon," informed all sectors of society about the progress of the race organization, and provided detailed explanations on some specific preparations.
The 2024 Kayou Yiwu Half Marathon is certified by the China Athletic Association and is hosted by the Yiwu Municipal People's Government and the Zhejiang Marathon and Road Running Association. It is undertaken by the Yiwu Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports Bureau, and the Yiwu Transportation and Tourism Industry Development Group Co., Ltd. The event will start with a gunshot at the Meihu Sports Center at 8:00 am on November 17th.
After the press conference, Gong Shujuan, Deputy Director of the Yiwu Half Marathon Organizing Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Yiwu Municipal People's Government, awarded a plaque to Zhejiang Kayou Animation Co., Ltd., the exclusive title sponsor. Zhang Fengde and Bao Hua, Deputy Secretaries-General of the Yiwu Half Marathon Organizing Committee, awarded plaques to top partners.
According to relevant officials from the organizing committee, this year's "Yiwu Marathon" will continue to provide even better services to ensure that runners have a high-quality, efficient, and safe race experience.
